Accidentally vegan isn’t a meat dish that is lacking the meat but rather common foods found in grocery stores that seem like they would include dairy products but actually don’t. Claiming the name accidentally vegan.

The Original Bisquick
Many people were shocked to find out the original Bisquick is actually vegan. Pancakes and waffles are generally thought of as a sweet and dairy filled breakfast but the batter is actually vegan. Just substitute the eggs and milk for vegan alternatives like oat milk and tofu eggs and you have yourself some delicious, sweet, and fluffy pancakes to start your day with.
Another kitchen staple, Pillsbury Grands are known to make their way into family gatherings and breakfast plates. Pillsbury is known for their buttermilk and buttery flavors but ditched the dairy in their Grands.
Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
Hershey’s and milk seem synonymous, especially when talking about some chocolate milk, but this can be made vegan very easily. The Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup, used in milk is actually dairy free, making it a great addition to your favorite vegan milk.
What gives Ritz Crackers their savory buttery taste? This question remains a mystery after the discovery of Ritz Crackers vegan nature. Many were surprised to find out this creamy tasting cracker is actually dairy free making it the ultimate afternoon snack. Pair some Ritz Crackers with a vegan cream cheese while you wonder how they could be so buttery and accidentally vegan.
Duncan Hines Milk Chocolate Brownie Mix
This one is a slight oxymoron since due to milk being in the name of the mix but Duncan Hines has many accidentally vegan mixes, including their brownie mix. You will have to substitute the eggs and milk for vegan alternatives during the baking process but the mix itself is completely vegan, making for a sweet dessert.
